- Choose the proper Medallion Perennial™ for your site
- Prepare the soil with organic matter
- Lay out the plants in the design before removing them from their containers
- Water plants well until they become established
- Use a mulch to keep the moisture in and the weeds out
- Organic mulches are better eg. Leaves, grass clippings and wood chips. They improve the
soil as they
break down and add nutrients to the soil.
- Fertilizers should not be necessary if organic matter is added every year
- Stake the taller plants to keep the plants form looking natural and tidy
- Check the Hardiness of the plants before planting.
