What are they?

Groundcovers are plants that grow close to the ground. They usually cover the ground by spreading, some will root as they spread and others don't.

Where can I use them?

Medallion Perennial™ groundcovers can be used in many different landscape settings. Some of the ways are:

  • Hills where the incline is too steep to mow grass
  • For use as erosion control, (the roots of the plants help to hold the soil together).
  • Plant in an area that is too shady to grow a vigorous lawn
  • Planting under large trees where the tree roots make it hard for grass to survive

Why use Medallion Perennial Groundcovers?

They add beauty and value to your landscape and home. There are many different types of groundcovers to suit
anyone's needs. There are some varieties that stay evergreen all year; some that are suitable for a sunny/dry area and some that tolerate shade.
